Colour Analysis inspires change and offers practical support for any type of organisation.
Banking and Financial Institutions These organisations are currently in a crisis situation. When Moira works with staff, the colour Blue tends to be the first choice. This is very unusual because Red is the colour that indicates concerns around job-losses and money issues, one would think that Red issues are the primary factor of stress in the business if there is a constant fear of redundancy. Management was therefore advised, as staff chose blue as the primary source of stress, that their focus should be on engendering a new sense of trust and open honest communication. This approach was also recommended for re-building their client base and sourcing new avenues of income, using blue in their marketing materials.
Charities Most charitable organisations use both staff and volunteers to deliver services to the community. The challenge is to keep the case workers motivated and to supply them with inspirational new ideas to continue to deliver high standards. For a national health charity, Moira designed a course to help staff and volunteers deal with stress and taught them how to use Colour Analysis with their clients in both group and individual sessions. This has helped the organisation to use colour to encourage clients to overcome issues around lack of physical movement, mental health, social interaction and to stimulate creativity and improve personal hygiene.
Entrepreneurial, Social Enterprises and Business Development This type of organisation focuses mainly on ensuring the client learns how to build a Business Plan and little or no emphasis is placed on the personal development of the individuals. Often with women in business, there is a fear of charging for services and products, mainly because there is an overwhelming sense of wanting to help others (emotional decision) and a lack of personal self-worth. These issues will eventually be reflected in the business not earning the income it needs to be successful. Moira helps organisations to build into their current training programmes a Personal Development Colour Module that helps to address these issues as well as building self-confidence, self-esteem and how to use colour to generate inspirational ideas for marketing.
Businesses In a business environment a Colour Analysis session can have an impact on not only the office or team, but can lead to personal changes as well. A team of staff from a national utilities company wanted to learn how colour can build team spirit and de-stress the office environment. A short introduction on how colour analysis works was given, then individual colour readings to highlight talents and gifts. A group reading proved very interesting here. The colour chosen by the manager was Violet (the colour of the leader), the staff member who is always telling jokes chose yellow (the colour of the clown), the staff member leaving chose green (the colour of change and new spaces) and the computer whizz chose turquoise (colour of internet communication). One member of staff asked how to lose weight and gain confidence, based on her colour choices she changed her life-style and lost 3 stone. They have reported after 6 months that they are still applying the meaning of colours they learnt to their daily office routine.
